The Effects of One’s Lifestyle on Happiness and Health An Investigation on the Long Term Relationship of the Mind and the Body Madeline Rinehart James Madison University Abstract There is valid research on the influence of happiness on a person’s health. Various factors contribute to the way that one is continually happy, or in a positive mindset. These factors can include lifestyle, work, and leisure. When focusing on health, there are many different fields; however, the field of research is predominantly mental, personal, and social health and happiness. The research will also examine how the terms listed above directly impact health. There is also research pertaining to a myriad of health difficulties. The research explains how these health difficulties are related to happiness. The research also explains how making minor changes to one’s lifestyle and work can create a healthier, happier human. This paper will also provide information about the happiness of various countries and how such happiness is measured on a global scale. Through polls, scholarly articles, books, and websites, this research paper will examine how happiness can be impro ved by making small or minor changes to one’s life and the choices that are made throughout the span of life before death.
